For your convenience, we have divided the images into two categories. Images from the section of our Image Gallery formerly known as "Around the World in Eighty Scenes" are in the "Classic Images" section. New additions are in the "What's New?" section.
This sampler contains satellite images of the Earth taken by the Landsat satellites. Latitude and longitude are expressed in degrees (D), minutes (M), and seconds (S). Latitude is shown as DDMMSS and longitude is shown as DDDMMSS.
